Edit applications and application templates with API

Hi all,

I have created an application template which helps to monitor processes via SNMP. I wish to be able to add/ enable/ disable component monitors via API. Is such thing possible at the moment, or any plans to provide it in the future?

All I was able to do with API was to add or remove an application template (that was created previously in GUI) to a node.

Any input is appreciated on editing applications via API.
