Orion API: Code to Ping node 'up' or 'down' from a specific polling engine ?

Orion SDK code available to Add\remove\modify node via ICMP\SNMP v2\WMI.

1. Add node
2. Assign poller
3. Update custom properties

Is there a way to check if a node is online and reachable over network from a specific polling engine?

Did anyone try to modify “Discovery SDK” https://github.com/solarwinds/OrionSDK/wiki/Discovery

And use “Discovery SDK” to validate (ICMP\Ping) if an IPaddress is reachable from specific polling engine (I have 5 engine all in different vlan and behind firewall)
